Accountable for preparing menu items and coordinating food orders while maintaining proper food storage and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring proper food storage and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety.
  • Prepare menu items using recipes and presentation guidelines established by IPIC.

Prep Cook
Prep Cook
Accountable for preparing menu items and keeping the Line Cooks stocked with basic, critical items throughout the shift. Responsible for all aspects of assigned station including cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining equipment, utensils and tools.

Server
Accountable for taking orders and delivering food/beverages while providing prompt and friendly service.  

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a consistently high level of guest service to all guests in Theater.
  • Adhere to all company guidelines and standards for serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Demonstrate mastery of the food and beverage menu; respond to questions about menu items and drink options.
  • Interact with guests comfortably in low lighting while communicating effectively in a soft tone as to not disrupt guests.
  • Display comfortable, genuine sales approach; provide insight to popular menu items and make suggestions for additional plates and drink pairings.
  • Exhibit the ability to engage with multiple guests, prioritizing interactions and providing outstanding service.
  • Provide Management with key signs of guest intoxication while ensuring minors are not served alcoholic beverages.
  • Keep the assigned stations cleaned and stocked at all times.
  • Secure payment for all checks and process checks through the POS in a timely manner.
  • Build a relationship that makes guests want to return to Theater.
  • If asked by Management, act as a peer mentor for new staff members.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Previous Server experience is preferred or a minimum of 1-year experience in food service/hospitality.
  • Possess basic math skills and previous point of sale system experience is recommended.

Server Assistant
Accountable for assisting servers with delivering food and cleaning tables. Creates and maintains a welcoming environment for guests by providing friendly service and ensuring the restaurant is clean and safe. 

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring guests and team members have a spotless, clean and safe environment.
  • Clear and reset tables quickly between each guest seating.  
  • Deliver food efficiently to assigned table or section.
  • Familiarize table/section numbers and food menu
  • Respond to guest request, and inform server or management of request or issue.
  • Take initiative to complete housekeeping duties including sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms, polishing silverware, and etc.

Accountable for providing guests with friendly and prompt service while taking ticket reservations in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests in a friendly, genuine way and answer questions with firm knowledge about movie times and seating.
  • Provide guests with in depth membership information and pricing. Answer all questions in a timely manner while making the guest feel comfortable.
  • Use reservation system and seating chart according to IPIC policies.
  • Exhibit the ability to engage with multiple guests, prioritizing interactions and providing outstanding service.
  • Build a relationship that makes guests want to return.
  • Use hospitable farewell techniques to say goodbye/thank you to every guest.
  • Secure payments and process through the POS in a timely manner.
