Front Desk Assistant
Kumon of Redmond is looking to hire a new team member to work at our front desk.  Per WA State Mandate for working with Early Learners must be vaccinated for COVID.

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic person who enjoys children.  A few of the duties will include greeting students as they enter the Center for class, answering parent questions, checking out library books, texting parents when students are ready to be picked up.

Must be reliable, able to multi-task and work well under some pressure.

Working hours are Monday through Friday 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Must be able to work all days.  No weekend hours.

The Key Holder is responsible for opening and/or closing the store and ensuring that proper store procedures and policies are followed when store management is not in store. This role is a key player in keeping the team focused by partnering with the store leaders.  A leader in helping to drive sales by creating a fun shopping experience for everyone!  Our stores are eclectic, quirky and have high energy. This role will set this tone.

Key Holder (Sales Lead)

Assistant Team Lead
The successful candidate will have several years of specialty retail experience in a leadership role, as an Assistant Store Manager or Assistant Boutique Team Leader. The Assistant Boutique Team Leader must have a strong emphasis on guest service, product and visual presentation, be an effective problem solver and possess an entrepreneurial spirit in order to support the Boutique Team Leader. The Assistant Boutique Team Leader will assist the Boutique Team Leader in building and retaining a high performing and diverse sales team. Through coaching the Assistant Boutique Team Leader must motivate their team to provide superior customer service and in turn maximize sales. The candidate, in partnership with the Boutique Team Leader, must understand business drivers, how to maximize profitability, and ensure visual and operational standards are met consistently in their boutique.

 
Part-Time Studio Helper
Paint Away! is a paint-your-own pottery studio in Redmond Town Center. We are currently looking for someone who is able to work on Weekends (Friday - Sunday) and must be at least 18 years old. The applicant must be enthusiastic, energetic, confident, hard-working, reliable, and committed to providing great customer service with a can-do attitude. Must also be organized, learn quickly, detail-oriented, self-directed, a problem solver, and able to multi-task.

Candidate must enjoy working with children and adults in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Duties may include helping customers (including children), hosting events, re-stocking inventory, opening shipment, filling paints, keeping the studio clean, operating a Point of Sale register system, special projects, kiln work, and other related duties, such as helping resolve customer conflicts in a professional and tactful manner.
