Brick & Mortar Books – General Book Club (Fiction/Nonfiction): Dispatches from Pluto

Our General Book Club reads books from all genres, fiction and nonfiction, and newcomers are always welcome! In January, the group enjoyed a lively discussion of Ann Patchett’s STATE OF WONDER, which takes place primarily along the Amazon River.

We’re moving closer to home for our February pick, DISPATCHES FROM PLUTO: LOST AND FOUND in the Mississippi Delta by Richard Grant. What happens when an English travel writer living in a tiny apartment in New York City with his liberal girlfriend and big dog moves to a mansion in Pluto, Mississippi?
