The Stock Associate is responsible for the receipt, placement, and maintenance of merchandise product in the store. This is accomplished through compliance with store operations and visual standards and knowledge of the product lines.
Effectively and quickly process shipments.
Execute markdowns and replenishment process.
Maintain organized stockroom to company standards.
Execute supervisory and visual direction and creates displays to company standards.
Work effectively with other employees and management.
Receptive to feedback, willingly accept direction, and guidance.
Flexible with tasks.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Ensure stockroom is clean and maintained to standards.
Complete time sheets, markdowns and replenishment processes and meet deadlines.
Support loss prevention measures.
Availability must meet the store’s needs and be flexible
Availability must allow for the store to adhere to company policy, effective scheduling guidelines and state law
Shifts range from 2.5 to 8 hours, based on the needs of the business, not to exceed 29 per week
Long periods may occur during new line sets and peak delivery times, including but not limited to new lines, inventory, sales events, special promotions and holidays
Extended shifts will be scheduled if a shortage of staffing occurs and/or during peak delivery times, which include but are not limited to, new lines, inventory, sales events, special promotions and holidays
All work must be recorded and paid. Off the clock work is prohibited
Stock associates are expected to take meal and rest period in accordance with Company policy and state law
Excellent problem solving skills
Effective communication skills enabling him/her to converse with employees, customers, and Supervisors
Ability to analyze situations, offer solutions using sound judgment, and is action-oriented
Work quickly to complete physical tasks placing merchandise in fixtures, setting new lines completing daily store maintenance which includes, but is not limited to climbing ladders, cleaning, and lifting boxes ranging from 5-35 lbs.
Possesses the ability to read, write, and conduct business-related mathematics
